SophyAI comes to Apple Silicon Macs

The first release of the app is for Macs with M-series chips. The app license and cloud GPU costs stay two separate bills.

The first release of SophyAI is for macOS on Apple Silicon (M1 or later, macOS 12+). Windows and Linux come later, with the same account and the same license.

What's inside

• A catalog of measured recipes: model, inference engine, hardware, hourly cost.
• Local execution on the Mac (Ollama, ds4 Metal, Colibrì) and cloud sessions on Vast.ai when you need a large model.
• Publish: an OpenAI endpoint on 127.0.0.1 for Cursor, OpenCode, Aider, Continue and Cline.
• MCP keys with scopes and expiry for AI agents.

Two separate bills

The app license sets how many hours a day you can use it: Free (1 hour), Max (8 hours, €19/month), Pro (24 hours, €49/month) and Team (€59 per seat). Yearly billing is 20% cheaper.

Cloud GPUs are pay as you go: a provider key registered in the app and credit in your wallet. The hourly cost is shown before every start.

Getting started

1. Download the .dmg from the Download page and check the SHA-256.
2. Create your account on the Account page or in the app.
3. The 14-day Pro trial starts right away, no card needed. Then pick a plan or stay on Free.
